Develop an idea
Talk to a biostatistician early — before the protocol is written. We can help with feasibility, study design, sample size, and how you will capture and manage the data.
Find funding
The Fluid Research Grant all year through your IRB application, periodic intramural calls, and extramural calls from outside funders.
Obtain approvals
Ethics review through the Institutional Review Board, plus regulatory notifications, amendments, and the approvals your funder will ask for.
Set up an awarded grant
Intramural and extramural grants awarded from a call are set up in the Grants Portal — MOUs, and the administrative and finance approvals the project needs to start.
Set up and conduct the study
Project accounts, purchases, staff appointments, and data-capture support once your study is approved and funded.
Analyse and publish
Analysis and manuscript review from the biostatistics team, article processing charge support, and help reporting results to your funder.
