Doctoral programmes

CMC runs doctoral programmes across its clinical and basic science departments. Which programmes are open, who is eligible, and when applications are invited change from year to year, so ask the Office of Research for the current position rather than relying on a page.

Scholars already registered, and applicants partway through the process, can raise a PhD programme support request from the research support directory.

Research electives and student research

Undergraduate and postgraduate trainees at CMC take part in research alongside their clinical training. Ask the Office of Research what is available in a particular department, or how a research elective can be arranged.

Research staff careers

Project-funded research posts — research fellows, project assistants, data managers, statisticians and coordinators — are advertised on the vacancies page as principal investigators open them. Each listing names the investigator and says how to apply, so apply to the listing rather than to the Office of Research.

Training in research methods

Research methods training is offered through the Office of Research and the research units. Ask what is running and how to hear about future sessions.
