Anyone who can sign in to this portal with a CMC Microsoft 365 account can raise this request.
Open to PhD applicants and to scholars already registered on a CMC-affiliated doctoral programme.
When to approach us
At any point in the doctoral programme: registration, fee payment, examination, or anything else that has stalled.
If you are not yet registered and are asking about applying, say so in the description and the Research Office will point you to the current position.
What to have ready
The form asks for:
- University / Programme
- Issue Category
- Description of Issue
If University / Programme is Other, it also asks for:
- Specify University
You can attach supporting documents after submitting the form.
What happens after you submit
Your request is given a reference number and assigned to a named person in the Research Office. You get an email confirming it, and they are alerted at the same time.
Everything after that happens in one place. Track it under My Requests in your portal, add comments or attachments at any point, and see who it is with and what state it is in. If the Research Office needs something more from you they will set the request to waiting on your response, and you will be emailed.
You can reopen the conversation on a request after it is completed, and nothing is deleted.
We aim to acknowledge your request within one working day, and to complete it within 3 working days.
