Request a REDCap project for study data capture, including user accounts for your study team.
Requests are made from your portal account. Sign in with your CMC Microsoft 365 account to raise one.

Anyone who can sign in to this portal with a CMC Microsoft 365 account can raise this request.
A REDCap project is set up only for a study that already has IRB approval, and the form asks for the approval number.
When to approach us
Once your study has IRB approval and you know roughly what you need to capture.
If your study is still under review, ask the biostatistics team about data capture first — the design of your forms is easier to change before the project is built.
What to have ready
The form asks for:
- Study Title
- IRB Approval Number
- Principal Investigator
- PI Email
- Approximate Number of Forms
- Longitudinal (Repeat Visits)?
- Study Team Users
- Required Go-Live Date

You can attach supporting documents after submitting the form.
What happens after you submit
The data management team checks the IRB approval and the scope of what you need, then builds the project and creates accounts for the study team members you listed. You will be told when it is ready and who to contact for changes.
We aim to acknowledge your request within one working day, and to complete it within 3 working days.
